Summary of Position

Responsible for receiving, documenting, researching and responding to member inquiries, complaints, appeals and/or grievances received over the phone. Achieve and maintain key performance measures.

Principal Accountabilities

Interacts with members via phone as appropriate to respond to inquiries, complaints, appeals and/or grievances in accordance with state and federal compliance requirements and internal guidelines.
Promotes and maintains quality documentation.
Works collaboratively with other departments to research and resolve issues. Suggest and share ideas for system and process improvement.
Develop and training of self and co-workers

Handle incoming calls received from agents and customers
Establish caller identity and take steps to provide or coordinate service.
Coordinate with other internal functions to provide service

Demonstrate the ability to own and resolve problems utilizing skills, tools and client service

Research required information using available resources
Manage, resolve, and escalate customer complaints as needed
Provide customers with accurate product and service information
